FLOAT

The FLOAT 100

The hundred most significant objects in each of 11 categories, ranked. Every entry carries one reference price from a named public source, shown with its own kind: a realized sale, a market asking price or a guide value. They are not the same claim and are never presented as one. Each row below opens that category's full ranking; the figure beside it is the number-one entry's reference price, labeled the way its own page labels it.

How this is made

The count
The number beside each category is how many of its objects clear the publishing gate: a name, a year, an identifier, a rationale, a positive reference price with a citation, and a recognized price kind. A category with fewer than one hundred has entries that did not.
The figure
The number-one entry's reference price, copied from its own page. Nothing on this page is averaged, summed or ranked across categories.
