Cherrystone Auctions (Teaneck, NJ), U.S. & Worldwide Stamps & Postal History, sale of 2-3 February 2021, lot 608: '1852 1sc rose, used, margins all around, v.f., with 1990 Diena certificate (Sass. 11)' — Price Realized $850.00 against a catalogue value of EUR 7,000 stated on the same page. This is the exact Sassone 11 top value of the 1852 first issue, used; already USD, and the realized hammer exclusive of buyer's premium. The two-day sale is dated to its opening day since the results page does not break out per-lot session dates. For scale, lot 596 (complete unused set 1/2b-1sc, Sass. 1-11, catalogue EUR 62,000) and lot 597 (complete used set) both went unsold, so no unused 1 scudo realized price was available.
